Feria de Pedro Romero y Corrida Goyesca
1Sept 2026
Tuesday, 1 September 2026
to Sunday, 6 September 2026
Ronda's principal fair is named after the legendary bullfighter Pedro Romero, a pioneer of the modern style of bullfighting. The town, perched on its dramatic gorge, hosts a week of traditional music and dancing, but the focal point is the world-famous Corrida Goyesca. This unique bullfight, held in the historic 18th-century Maestranza bullring, sees participants dressed in costumes reminiscent of the era of the painter Francisco de Goya. The streets are filled with women in 'Goyesca' attire and horse-drawn carriages. It is a highly exclusive and traditional event that attracts socialites and aficionados from across Spain to one of Andalucía's most beautiful 'Pueblos Blancos'.
